Re: autozone+buddys 71 spindles
If you know of six lug rotors that will fit those spindles, spill the part number, please.

I would price it out first.Since you want to saty with 6 lug you may get a better price buying a 6 lug disc kit(without spindles) from a BB vendor.IIRC they run about $270 and would include all of the above. You would still need the MC but I really think going to PB's is going to help a lot also. The disc brakes are nice but still require a lot of pedal pressure.

Re: autozone+buddys 71 spindles
How comprehensive of a list are you after? The one obvious missing on your list is calipers.
You'll need bearings and nuts (all the small parts in the hub). (Probably ~$50.) Disc brakes will require a different soft line. Proportioning values for drum/drum are different than disc/drum. This forum is the first place I've ever heard of guys using the old proportioning valve. Drums are low volume/high pressure while disc calipers take high volume/low pressure. If you don't have power brakes currently, and you have decent fab skills, you may do well grabbing a junkyard booster/master cylinder/proportioning valve from a 73-87. You'll need to make your own rod to connect to the brake pedal and your own bracket to connect to the booster to the firewall.
