Number Matching Truck?
Hey,
I ran the numbers on my motor today in my 69 gmc. Its a 350 4 bolt main and it was from 69. I decoded the vin and the truck was originally a v8. So im almost positive that its the original motor. But im still curious as to how do definatly identify that it is?

Re: Number Matching Truck?
Check the code on the blocks pad located in front of the passenger side head. That code will tell you more info too.
Your fan shroud not original. lol s/t
