Re: L.L. Bean catalog
Sorry guys, I dont have a scanner. It appears to be a high option red/white 72 chevy pick-up. It only shows the cab. I was giving my 17 year old daughter a hard time for not noticing it while she was looking at the catalog

Re: L.L. Bean catalog
No need to appologize... Geeze, its just a regional thing. Here out West Cabella's is big, and it's very similar to LL Bean, and the other one that is more southern Bass Pro shops is just like it.

Re: L.L. Bean catalog
None compare to LL Bean. They are the mack daddy of outdoor clothes.I grew up wearing their stuff. They paved the path for other mail order clothing to follow. They always priced postage paid and had phenominal customer service.I ordered Lee Frisco jeans.I got a phone call saying they were back ordered a week or so and wanted to know if I was willing to wait or want a refund.Back then people were leary about sending money off for something, especially sight unseen. It wasn`t until the`80s that mail order grew. Most outdoor clothing companies started out copying(or trying to) LL Bean`s designs. They have changed once they caught on with in the yuppy bunch. They also pioneered alot of what the others sell.
We have Cabellas and Bass Pro shops around here, too.Cabellas has good clothes for the price.

Re: L.L. Bean catalog
It could have been a Custom Deluxe but then it would have had black and not woodgrain in the lower molding. It all adds up when you know what to look for.
