I made a set for my truck as well. It's not that hard and not the expensive either.

I just said screw it and cut my doors - I know, it's sacriligious, but it's my truck, and the kick panel thing is not working at all for me. I like to be able to use the dimmer switch and the e-brake.

If you do some careful planning and measuring you can build them and still use your dimmer and e brake.
