New look for me motor

Put on my new(to me) Holley street dominator(single plane, mild porting) with some new tall valve covers and painted air cleaner cover.

Re: New look for me motor

I don't think I've ever seen a gauge cluster like that in the engine compartment. I kinda dig it.

Its an idea i got from an old car guy I met. Put a set of manual gauges in the engine compartment that way you have a way of double checking your electric gauges and it gives you a way to see whats going on while under the hood. I'm yet to meet anyone else who's done it though.... I love it. Makes life easier

I was saving some old gauges I have to do the same thing under the hood. I also have a temp gauge from mOOn that screws into the thermostat housing. My Dad told me about a guy he knew that was a racer....they got sick of running back and forth to see the gauges so they made a whole dash that popped out and could be brought around to the engine compartment.

Hows the new combo run???????
