Theyre made by Scat in Redondo Beach. Same with CAT power and a few other generic names they make under contract . You could just about count all of the ACTUAL aftermarket crankshaft manufacturers on one hand .
Scat did a major expansion a few years ago and part of that was the ability to make aftermarket cranks for just about everything. It wasnt long ago when all they did was air cooled volkswagen stuff . Theyve really got the market cornered on cast nodular iron aftermarket cranks. They even do stuff that was impossible to find a few years ago like 428 ford crankshafts. Even their forged steel crank prices dont have anyone else even close in price. Plus they offer cast in knife edging that I dont think anyone else even thought of.

crank
I have seen these cranks used in several street 383s and 400s with good durability .Just make sure to have rotating assembly spin balanced .
