What are dripper rails?

I am looking to by some aftermarket chrome valve covers from Summit but I am confused. The part in the link is the style I like and it has extra hole for power steering but it says it does not have driooer rails. What are they? Are dripper rails on stock valve covers?

Re: What are dripper rails?

The set your looking at are for a corvette with one corner recessed for the break booster. I think the dripper rail holds oil and lets it drip over the rocker arms and such. My opinion is they wouldnt look right in a truck with the recessed corner, its made like that for tight engine compartments. Your truck has plenty of room for standard valve covers.

Stripper rail or dripper rail?
You already got your answer.Consider this a worthless knee-jerk reaction induced by caffeine.
