Optional long bed ??

I've seen the 88-99 short bed step side beds put on 67-72 short bed trucks. Has anyone put a 88-99 longbed on a 67-72 truck?

Reason I'm asking is that I found a nice 69 C20 that just need the usualy rocker and cab corner work. But the bed is way past saving. 67-72 beds aren't cheap here since most are rusted. But I can get a good solid 88-99 gen. box for $150.

If anyone has seen this, please post some pictures so I can make up my mind.

i guess you have to see it in person. The top sticks out, the center and bottom is tucked in, ther whole side is like a slab while the cab is rounded and shaped

A good body man with a lot of time could make it match, but he could also spend 1/10th of the time and repair the originals.

I'll stick the originals.

Hey BluTrukker, drive over to Waltham, MN for me, there use to be a 68 sitting at the implement dealer! Should have bought it before we moved.
