Good exhaust shop around Seattle?

I received a Flowmaster exhaust system and Dynomax headers for the Chevelle, I know, not the truck. I want this sucker on there real nice and perfect and I know that I do not have that kind of ability.

So I was wondering if you guys know of any good places that will weld it up for me and tuck it in there perfect like. And of course I am looking for a place that does good work at a good price. Although, quality comes first here. I don't live in the city of Seattle, I make my home in Woodinville, so any place in the surrounding area works for me. Just hope that the cops don't mind me running straight headers to the exhaust shop

Thanks a lot guys and have fun.

I have all mine done at a place over in port orchard . Its a Walts muffler branch but the manager of the place does extremely high quality custom work . He's a dirt track racer and does great metal work. He's done several of my vehicles and the work he did on my 68 is probably the best job I have ever seen on one of these trucks .The exhaust job on mine ran $340 from the headers back to the rear of the axle. I'd consider it money well spent considering some of the exhaust butcher jobs I have seen on coil sprung trucks.

That shop at the west end of Everett Mall Blvd on the North side, (about 2 blocks from Pep Boys), does good work.

Mikep- Thanks for the reply but it might be a little far for me. If I don't have many other good recomendations I just might try it.

Terryp- Do you happen to remember the name of the place. I am not real familiar with Everett but it might be worth a shot for me to get out there and at least look for the place to talk to them if you don't remember their name.

Any other places?

I ended up taking my truck to Cle Elum because the prices were outragious on the East side IMHO. They did a great job. If you are interested in going that far let me know and I will get you the name.

Jeremy, Adam and I took his truck to Covington, just off Hwy 18. $175 to run new pipes to the existing Dynomax mufflers and turn them down in front of the rearend. Great prices but still a ways for you.

We got stopped about one block from the house! Have someone follow you (your dad) and they will be understanding. This policewoman did not even look under the truck...we just told her something happened and we were taking it to the muffler shop to have it fixed...LOL! She said "It sure is loud"...no warning or anything. I want to hear your Chevelle when it is done.

I've always heard good things about the Dan Fast chain. There is one in Bellevue off of 12th. Near Lake Bellevue, Coca-Cola and Safeway offices.

Go to Bucky's on 196th in Lynnwood. they always do good work and they are not very expensive. I talked to a guy down there about doing my truck becuase it is in some serious need of new exhaust and he quoted me like 415 for performance mufflers and pipes going out the back and crome tips all welded nice. he said he did a 67 not to long ago and it came out real nice. anyways you may want to call him. there might even be a bucky's in woodinville I am not sure. also there is a dan fast on hwy 99 in lynnwood that is supposed to be good. i have never been there though
