1/2 to 3/4 ton swap.
I just want to confirm that the 3/4 ton rear leaf spring brackets, and shackles are the same dimensions as the 1/2 ton. So theoreticly I could take a whole 1/2 ton rear with springs and shackles and bolt it right in a 3/4 ton frame?

Re: 1/2 to 3/4 ton swap.
Member bagged74 just did this with his old crewcab.
I believe the leaf spring perched are positioned wider on the 3/4 tons,... so the 1/2 ton perches will have to be moved out wider to set correctly on the 3/4 ton leaf springs. .

Re: 1/2 to 3/4 ton swap.
Or could I use the 1/2 ton frame brackets? What did you do on your Crew cab? Thanks for the help.

Re: 1/2 to 3/4 ton swap.
1/2 ton and 3/4 ton have the same spring perch width. It's the 1 ton that is different. The 1/2 ton stuff will all bolt to the 3/4 ton hangers as long as the springs are the same length.
