Power steering pulley
I am going to convert my truck to power steering and have the pump and brackets and steering sector but I dont have any pulleys or at least the engine pulleys. Can yall post pics of yours so I can see what i need to look for. The pump cam from a 71-72 chevy truck and looks to be original.
Thanks, Terry J.

Re: Power steering pulley
This is the setup on my '69. The crank pulley is a 3 groove. There is a spacer or gap between the groove closest to the engine and the 2 grooves closer to the radiator. Might be different on a '72 though.

Re: Power steering pulley
Ok cool the power steering goes in front of the alternator. That means I dont need a new waterpump pulley just the crank one. THanks!!

Re: Power steering pulley
No problem. Just remember this on a '69 with a 350, a '71-'72 pump may or may not be different. Big block may be different as well.

Re: Power steering pulley
I just have a little 307.. Right now the only accessory it has is an alternator. LOL if they could have done away with that on my truck they would have!! Thats how many options i have. LOL

I am currently doing the same thing to my 68 with a 307. I too have little to no options.

Re: Power steering pulley
Mine has the cheyenne package whic consists as far as i can tell of different color door panels and sun visors and wood trim. Seat was probably a different color but i didnt get it with the truck so i dont know. Oh and a headline which only has the trim left and cheyenne badges. Other than that its bone stock.
