steering column issues
I've asked before, does the spring on the top end of the steering column go on under the canceling cam or on top? I'm dealing with an aftermarket steering wheel hub that worked well on my non-tilt column, but doesn't seem to go on far enough. I have already made sure that it is seated and adjusted where it's supposed to be. Also, how do I get the horn contact plunger out so I can replace a weak spring? Does it require a special tool? Any advice would be great. Thanks, Cnut

Re: steering column issues
Spring first then cancell cam. Horn plunger can be removed by grabbing plunger with pliers and gently pull it out red retainer should come off with it. then replace spring then install plunger and slide retainer on and snap it in place

Re: steering column issues
On the plunger, does this go for a tilt column? I tried to gently pull it out and it wouldn't come out. I trust what you say but I have a habit of applying too much pressure in some situationsif you know what I mean. Cnut
