Well,, It's Gone :(
WELL IT'S GONE. I REALLY DIDN'T HAVE ANY PLANS TO GET RID OF IT, BUT STUFF HAPPENS. MY 71 SHORT CHEYENNE IS GONE. I PULLED THE BIG BLOCK & PUT IN A NEW SMALLY, & SWAPPED IT TO ONE OF MY NEIGHBORS (GREAT NOW I GET TO SEE IT WHEN IT'S NOT IN HIS GARAGE) FOR A 93 EXTENDED CAB 4X4 WITH EVERY AVAILABLE OPTION (TILT,TACH.P/W P/S P/B P/DL AIR CRUISE NICE STEREO, ELEC. MIRRORS, MATCHING TOPPER, CARPET KIT(FOR THE TOPPER) & A FULL LENGHT CONST. RACK OVER THE TOPPER, WITH 42000 ORIG. MILES (HE'S HAD IT FOR NINE YEARS & BOUGHT IT NEW). IT'S MINT EVERYWHERE (HE'S KINDA ANAL) HE ALSO THRU IN A 78 BLAZER THE HE PUT A BRAND NEW GOODWRENCH MOTOR IN 500 MILES AGO. & A NEW IN THE BOX EDELBROCK CARB (600 CFM ELEC. CHOKE MODLE) NEW IN BOX PERFORMER INTAKE, NEW CHROME BLOCKHUGGER HEADERS, NEW CHROME AIR CLEANER, & NEW CHROME VALVE COVERS.
IT'S NICE TO HAVE ALL THIS NEW STUFF BUT BUT IT'S GONE OH WELL TIME TO BUILD ANOTHER ONE

Wow! I bet that's tough, especially since you're going to see it all the time. I've always hated seeing my old vehicles driving around after I sold them. At least your neighbor sounds like somebody who will treat the truck as well as you did.
Yep, time to find a new home for the big block...

YEP-- THE GUY THAT I SWAPPED IT TO IS IN HIS LATE 60s & WAS ALWAYS DROOLIN OVER IT, SAYING HE BOUGHT A NEW ONE IN 1971, & IT WAS THE BEST TRUCK HE'S EVER OWNED. HE'S GOT A 50 CHEVY COUP, & A 50 CHEVY BEL AIRE THAT ARE JUST FLAWLESS, SO HE DEFINATELY KNOWS HOW TO CARE FOR & APPRECIATE OLD IRON. OH WELL, AT LEAST HE'LL LET ME DO ALL THE MECHANICAL WORK ON IT. (ALTHOUGH IT WILL SEEM KINDA FUNNY GETTIN PAID TO WORK ON A TRUCK THAT I BUILT)
