Paint/Body Shop in North Hollywood,Calif (can't find the thread)

There was a thread last year where someone mentioned that they had some work done at a place on Laurel Canyon and recommended the place. I can't find that thread and I went to the general area and tried one place and they massacred a minor welding job I gave them (stake pocket).
If that someone reads this, please let me know the correct shop so I can get my truck fixed up. Thx. WLH

Hey WorkinLonghorn, H & T Autobody, 7103 Laurel Canyon Blvd. #1 (818) 439-9786
They're across and down the street from the Kragen on Laurel Canyon near Sherman Way.
They do pretty good work, not show quality or anything though.

Thanks Siniter. I'll check them out. Just want to get the surface rust and a little body work and maybe a shot of paint. You've seen my truck;you'd have to agree it's way over due!

How did your experience go? I've started looking for options to get rockers, door corners, and body prepper for paint.

Im in OC

This thread is 11 years old, but the shop is still in business, according to google. They must do good work. Maybe change the location in your avatar, I thought you were still in HI, at first!

Just did haha.

And yeah, I saw online they are still around. Just trying to find someone who is both familiar with our trucks and does decent work. Getting ready to blast body panels and get rust work done.

Re: Paint/Body Shop in North Hollywood,Calif (can't find the thread)

Kind of crazy that almost all shops will not work on older cars now. Literally searched for years to find a shop to to do a complete on my 72 (see thread). Had to jump on it when a guy I knew for years called and said bring me your truck if you want it done. Got rear ended in my 94, small amount of damage to left rear corner. Truck had the usual chalking/flaking clear coat in several areas. Out of 10 body shops only 2 would even talk to me when I said I would pay the difference to have the rest of truck painted (guy who did my 72 was out with surgery). Sent a PM with my number if you want to talk about the shop I used for the 72.
