What do you think about these rims?
I like the rims, not sure if I like them on my truck though. The photoshop job isn't the best, but it was my first time.
My other option will be the Coys C-5 or the Boss 338, just need to see if I can get a 4.5" backspacing in 18". I was looking for a 10" or wider rim so I can run a 315/35/18 Hoosier drag radial. Before: After:

I like the wheels, and I like your truck, but I really don't like the two of them together.
Whats wrong with the ones you have? |

Re: What do you think about these rims?
Torq Thrust are WAY over-used.......BUT THEY LOOK GOOD ON JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING!!!!
I love salt flats but I dont care for them on that truck for some reason. I think the need a much deeper off set to look right on a truck! My vote is the torq thrust but maybe find some with some color in them instead of all chrome?.

Re: What do you think about these rims?
I agree. The Salt Flats are sweet wheels, but for some reason just don't look right on the truck. It may just be the actual pic used for photoshop. They just don't look deep enough.
The Torque Thrusts are used a lot, but that's because they look amazing! |

Re: What do you think about these rims?
Thanks for all the responses. I agree with most of you that the rims look good but not on my truck.
I am installing a C4 dropmember so I need to change at least the front rims (5x4.75). I figured I might as well change all four and go a bit bigger. I want to fill in the wheel wells a bit more as well.

Re: What do you think about these rims?
I think the salt flat style rims would look good. I think its the tire size in the chop that is throwing everone off. Get some tires with more sidewall than in the picture and it'll look great.

Re: What do you think about these rims?
Those are a favorite wheel style of mine. But I agree with the others, they don't really work with your truck that well.

Re: What do you think about these rims?
Guys those aren't AR Salt Flats. They are Centerline "Boulevard" frm the Sundance series. They make the centers polished and grey.
I think they look sweet. I just wished they were available with the soft lip.

Thanks for the info.....you are correct...I actually think true salt flats were dicontinued a few years ago......however those pictured are a salt flat inspired, style recreation.

Re: What do you think about these rims?
I love these wheels, they would look good in 17x10 with a bunch of neg camber and streched tires, with the front air dam scraping the ground.

Re: What do you think about these rims?
Im runnig boss 338 on my 66 -20's all the way around had to use spacers but they look as good as the coys and you dont have to buy them from coy so you can get them local.that is a big deal if you buy wheel and tires together -no returns on mounted wheels at most places

Me, too. I like the Torq Thrusts the best. If you ever think about selling them let me know...
And - I think your truck is sweet, too - K
