Unhappy Project Frank F/S Whole or part out

I have arrived at the crossroads of this project and have decided I will never be able to complete it.With the latest economic downturn and my daughter starting private school I will not have any $$ for it for the for see able future.
I hate to do it, but it is the right decision for my family and I, plus I will still have my 69 and will give me some funds to make it alot nicer
I have over $10K in receipts, not to mention any labor and everything is top notch. Please take a moment to check out the build thread and you can see what I am talking about http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=209710

I would like to sell the whole thing outright, but I am doubtfull I will find a buyer for the entire lot, so please state what you would like to get in line if/when I part it out.

I am asking $8500.00 or best reasonable offer for the entire project( I do not have the eagle wheels, aluminum radiator, or chrome booster package) everything else you see in the build would be included.

I will give this thread some time to generate some interest and if I cannot sell it all outright, I will begin parting the truck out.

If/when parting out pricing will be as follows

Motor/tranny, 350/200r4 Motor was built by a local hot rod shop bored 30 over and a small cam(have specs), 882 heads and tranny is from BTO (bowtie overdrives). They com with the headers and flamed billet valve covers and breather, serp belt kit, tranny install kit, and lock up kit, new 1406 edlebrock carb, with edlebrock line and filter kit and a high torque mini starter.
I made the taylor 8.5 mm plug wires, and it has a 65K volt HEI,
The tranny is a level 1 200r4 built by bto in Cali and includes install kit and stock torque converter, and 1 yr warranty.

$2850.00 They cost me over $3000.00 without the billet stuff, ignition, wires, headers serp kit,or carb. Ready to drop in your project!

Frame/chassis
real 67 SWB frame been dimpled for PS. Has been cleaned and painted witrh Eastwoods chassis paint kit, dropped 3.5" in the front and 5" in the rear, 4 wheel disc brakes, front sway bar, stainless steel brakes lines that have stainless straps and stainless button head bolts, stainless steel flexible lines as well to each front wheel and the rear end,
all new ball joints, bushings, bearings tie rods, ect...
Has aftermarket tranny mount, and dropped crossmember with exhaust cutouts.
Will include the old wheels and tires in the begining of the build. It will also include a Fuel cell guy fuel cell mounted under the bed, plumbed in to the fuel pump with stailess lines, straps and button head screws too.
Will need driveshaft, and brake lines adapted to the rear discs to be complete.
$1700

67 small window cab w/title and doors
is rust free now, needs some firewall work finished up, rockers installed, and kick panels patches. Most all firewall is shaved already as well as the seam at the top rear of the cab. Real 67 uncut dash. Doors are rust free, but need a little work to get the perfect with the cab. I also have the manual 1 piece window kit without the triangles that will go with the cab and doors. That is all the glass I have for the cab. The cab was blasted and primed it is very solid, the original cab corners in great shape. I have NOS rockers for the cab abd will include them with it.
$1800.00

Complete 67-72 fleet short bed metal floor.
The oem steel floor is in VERY nice shape, one of the nicest(could easily be a show floor) I have seen I gave nearly $500 for it by itself. The bedsides and wheel tubs, front panel are all new Goodmark panels. I do have a really nice original rust free tailgate, hardware and rear splash pans that will go with the bed.
$1600.00

67 complete front clip all new
I have two new 67 only fenders, new 67-8 stock hood, new 67-8 core support, a pair of rust free original inner fenders, two 67-8 grills both very nice rust/dent free shape. All the new parts are goodmark brand.
$1200.00

I am not posting any pics here yet, as all pics are in my build thread.
If there is something you want to see that isn't in the thread please just LMK here and will try and post a pic for you.

All prices are negotiable and all reponses are to be in the thread, NO PM's before posting in the thread, please!

MOD's I know this may not be the correct forum, but I find with the way it is likely to turn out the parts board is the right place for it to start, move it if you must but I would like for it to stay here for a few days to a week for exposure if possible.. Thanks Randy

Yes will bolt right in and would come with hardware, however I would like for that to go with the chassis for now.

If it comes up for sale if will be $400.00 plus shipping.
21 gallon aluminum fuel cell with sending unit.

Sorry but you need to be a paid subscriber to sell parts or trucks. Also to post a want to buy a part or truck.
Since you are new here this is just a warning.

And since you did a double whammy I need to inform you that posting on someone else post about something that you have for sale is concidered bad manners.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact me or any other moderator here.

Re: Project Frank F/S Whole or part out

How much for just the Engine/Tranny combo with just the converter, tranny install kit and Lock up kit?

No carb or or other stuff. Plus what are all the specs on the engine?

Sorry you are having to sell. I see a few things I would definitely be interested in if you decide to split up. Would like pricing on Serpentine Setup, Complete Brake Lines with clips, and power steering lines. All shipped to 72714. Thanks and let me know. Will be needing these within the next month as I am getting very close to putting mine back together.

The serp kit is soo heavy it would probably kill the deal. The alt is a 85 amp one wire clocked for this set up, and the water and power steering pumps are new, new tensioner pully and new belt, and will come with all mounting hardware. I would like $225 plus shipping, shipping will be $75-120 range due to the weight. If things go weel with the guy wanting the motor and tranny then when can get an accurate weight and quote for shipping then.

Brake lines and clips stay with the chassis.

Sounds good on the serpentine setup. I've had pretty good luck shipping heavy stuff with Fedex. We can do some digging into the actual shipping price if lowlife or someone else takes the motor. But most likely I would take it if this gets done before I get to that part of my build.

If you change your mind on the brake line setup, let me know. I definitely need all of that myself.

Same on the powersteering lines.

I forgot to ask, is that a short or long water pump? I imagine it won't make a difference if I bought the entire serp setup, but I'd have to check into it if it was short. Right now, I have a long water pump setup.

So a little run down on who's in line for what...
Forever71- fuel tank
lolife99-motor/tranny
es67chevy-serpt kit
hart rod- bed,2nd fuel tank
72 ironmike -2nd bed

I just get a few more things spoken for and I will start the part out, I do not want to be left with too much.

I am interested in the 67-68 hood and the American Eagle wheels in the pics of your build post if they are for sale ... I think we are close enough that we could work something out concerning shipping/pick up.

Man I wish you were closer to me. I SO want those 9 hole wheels that came on your parts truck.

Sorry to hear you have to sell the project. Been there, done that. Never easy but doing what you have to do for your family is the better thing. There will always be another project out there when you are ready.

Good luck.

OK, I am trying to work out a deal for the whole truck with chevyvegas, but shipping may kill the deal.

If no deal is made this is what is asked about/spoken for..

dialric-- complete rolling chassis
Hart rod -complete bed
es67chevy... serpt kit(if not sold with motor)
72 iron mike 2nd on bed

Any interest in the front clip or cab and title?
