wood bed question
Does anyone know if you use the original wheel housings for wood beds? I am going to order new ones but the place I order from has the stock ones and "smooth" ones. What is the differance?

Re: wood bed question
I just finished doing my 68 with a wood bed. I ordered the standard wheel wells from LMC and they were just like the originals and fit perfectly. They had the stock creases like the originals. They only offer these and I would order them again, not any that were "smooth".

Re: wood bed question
Yes, if your wheel wells are reusable, keep them as they will work with a wood bed as well. Generally the only parts that require replacement when changing to a wood floor are: the front panel, crossmembers, bolts, and of course the floor.
