Asking too Much?
http://boise.craigslist.org/pts/1169984262.html
Is this guy a little too proud of this gauge cluster or is it just me?

Re: Asking too Much?
Is that even out of a pickup, with the air pressure gauge?

Re: Asking too Much?
it has a pick up bezal, but no, it is out of a C/40 or bigger air brake truck.
No C/10 - C/30 (nor K series) ever had anything in that hole. |

Re: Asking too Much?
Maybe you could plumb the air pressure gauge your tires so you could know if ya have a leak Why would you need a vacuum gauge anyway?

Re: Asking too Much?
nope, vacuum gauge was only on C/40 and up.
the vacuum gauge can be used to train yourself to drve for best MPG, and it is a good troubleshooting tool for engine problems. ppl add them to there 10 - 30 series becouse they can't stand an empty hole. Last edited by Longhorn Man; 06-10-2009 at 06:00 AM. |

Re: Asking too Much?
the more you open the throttle, the more the engine vacuum goes down.

Re: Asking too Much?
The vacuuuuuuum gauge is very useful. I just haven't been able to talk myself into spending the money for the factory conversion ala LMC Truck. You could do an aftermarket for probably $30, but it would look like something installed by someone married to their first cousin.
