paint code needed

I posted this in paint and body forum but no one has stepped up... My local paint shop cant seem to find the correct code to quote/mix up my paint. All I can tell them that it is "Medium Olive Metallic" for a 72 Jimmy. The code they have comes up inthe komputer as "mack truck blue".

Anyone have the color code for"Medium Olive Metallic" Dupont paint? Looks like I gotta jump start their brain if I am going to paint this weekend

Dude, thanks! Bookmarked that site. It has PPG chips but maybe those numbers will help cross ref to Dupont.

The following are the stock # for the med. olive green met. in the following brands of paint
Lucite Stock # 5055-LH
Rinished-Mason Stock #A-2127
Ditzler Stock #2097
Sorry but I don't have a 72 Dupont Automotive Refinish Color Guide but I bet there is one on ebay if you want the Dupont #

My 2 cents: GO TO ANOTHER PAINT SHOP!!! GO TO ANOTHER PAINT SHOP!!!

I went to a Dupont reseller/jobber wanting to get Dk. Olive Metalic for my 71. Ended up getting the paint you are asking for: Med Olive Metallic!

Didn't realize it until after I painted the door that this is Med Metalic Olive.

Went back to the jobber. They couldn't mix me up the Dark Olive Metalic. Their code books were wrong. Didn't want to give me my money back. They tried to "match" the Dark Olive Met. Green to make things right. I knew that matching isn't going to do it.

So, I say f them and went and tried PPG paint. I LOVE IT! Screw the Dupont jobber, I will never do Dupont again the bastards.
