big nice aluminum radiator
Looking for an aluminum 4 core or whatever radiator for our trucks. I am doing a BBC and with Vegas heat I need to keep it cool.
What does everyone recommend? Are any direct replacement Radiators? if not do they install with a kit? available parts? |

Re: big nice aluminum radiator
I went with a griffin four core aluminum radiator and a flexalite fan so far the temperature here in miami has been in the low 90's and the truck runs at 160 all day long..

Re: big nice aluminum radiator
A 4 core brass and copper radiator is what I would use. You can buy direct replacements just abput antwhere. We sell them, radiator.com sells them and you usualy can find them on ebay. WES

Re: big nice aluminum radiator
We used a Be Cool Module for my truck that has a 396 big block. Prior to the install of the radiator the temp would be 205 through the day, but now with the radiator i rarely ever go over 185 through the summer. Drawback on the Module is that its not cheap at almost $1300. I bought the radiator its self first, used a mechanical fan until i got enough money to buy the dual 13 inch fans. Great kit. Good Luck

Re: big nice aluminum radiator
Whatever radiator you end up using, make sure you have a shroud.

I run Summit univerasl rad and aux trans cooler. Junkyard fans from late model 4th gen Fbody. I spend about $270 on it including fans. 160 cruising and 185 on the freeway.
