Shaving Firewall with Truck Together
Is it possible to shave the firewall with the truck all together? I've been putting it off for some time now. Just want to close up the passenger side where the factory air goes.

Re: Shaving Firewall with Truck Together
Yes, you can but in would be easier with the engine out. Sometimes without the right tools, cherry picker, and a good place then it has to be done with it in the truck. It will be more work from the valvecovers being close to the spot being shaved but I would say go ahead. I do bodywork and I've been in a lot tighter places where bodywork has been done.
Read that wrong. The fender needs taken off for this, engine can stay. Two bolts in upper fenders, under your cowl, one on bottom, under truck, and two on radiator support and you can pull the whole front clip off. That and wiring and other little things. Thanks, I'm going to go for it then, as soon as I get a little free time.

I'm going to shave mine also. I'll start mine in a few weeks.
