Repop Lower Bedside Moldings
Who sells the best repop woodgrain lower bedside moldings. I see a range of prices out there for these moldings and I am wondering if it follows the old saying you get what you pay for. Some made in the US and some over seas. Some feedback of where people have bought theirs and how they like it would be great.
Thanks

Re: Repop Lower Bedside Moldings
I got mine at Rez engineering. www.reztrucks.com. They were "counterpart" brand. I was very impressed by the look & the fit. I didnt use any of the sticky clips. I scrounged all of the metal clips & drilled all of the holes. It was a lot of work, but I think it made for a great fit.

Re: Repop Lower Bedside Moldings
I see Mar-K is one of the only vendors where I have seen the molding listed differently for 69-70 and 71-72. Apparently the 69-70 kit has all steel clips and not the adhesive stick on type. What do the other kits come with that are advertised for 69-72?

Re: Repop Lower Bedside Moldings
Most of the time the plastic clips w/adhesive are crap and do not want to stick very good. I think its cause they stay in a warehouse too long. Half the time the plastic does not want to come off th pad or it rips the pad. We try to remove them first and if they come off ok its usally ok but if they don't we will scrap them ALL of and replace with new tape. Even then they do not want to stick good. You will have to take a punch or screw driver to indent the aluminum to keep the clip from moving before you do anything. We have has to glue the pads on with urethane at times to get them to stay on to.
