I am lost, I need help.

OK, a few days ago I was working on a Jerry rigged electrical work I did to a plug on my wiper motor. I used some good wire and couplings. I took my time and made all the connections tight. I went it to make sure the wipers worked and they didn't so I got to looking at the fuses and everything looked good. no breaks or melting. so I though that maybe I screwed up on my fix. so I cut it all up and Jerry rigged it just like I had it before. Still Nothing! so I went out and got a multi-meter and I checked to see if I was even getting volts to the wires at the plug. No suck luck. I tried it every which way I could think of. wiper switch on, off,and wash mode. I tried having the leads on both wires and both ways and tried having the ground, grounded to the frame. Nothing! so I thought, maybe its the switch! so I got it out and I had the ground, grounded to the dash. went to every connector and got nothing! I tried it with the ground on the black wire, nothing. tried it with the plugs on the switch and switch on. Nothing! So, NOW WHAT!!!! LOL the meter does work, battery is good and grounded good. I had it on the 12 volt setting. and the wipers worked before this started. I did have a question sort of like this in the electrical board. and didn't have many takers. thanks!

The plug on the left is the one I was working on.

Here is the switch.
