uh oh did it again
hey i did it again. i sold my truck after only 2 months. was not really liking the longbed feel/look of the truck. this was my 10th car and im only 24 with 9 of the 10 being 1973 or older and the newest was my 84. so, i decided, i am a truck man and i need one just a little newer and shortbed fleetside automatic. found it! its a 92 silverado with the 5.7 v8 and 700r4 auto. it has nice paint and roll pan, custom exhaust, 22 inch rims which will be replaced by my centerlines some of you have seen. i pick it up this weekend but here is a pic i snapped of it from my phone. hope you guys arent too mad but hey atleast its still a chevy truck....

It's hard to beat the reliability of a newer truck.

Traitor!
Really though. The truck looks great, I think the centerlines will look killer too. Good find on that one. ...Oh, and I still have you beat. 25 and have had 15 vehicles (not counting parts cars).

Re: uh oh did it again
Looks like a sharp truck. That style is pretty sharp too. Not as slick as the square bodies, but we'll let you have your fun for now. You'll be back! Get us some pics when you pick it up. I'll keep an eye on the 88-98 board for it.

Re: uh oh did it again
hey guys i picked up my truck yesterday. its not the white one. its a 1992 gmc sierra SLE. 700r4 with shift kit. will get sideways in second gear. 5.7 v8. engine and trans completely rebuilt and have 30,000 miles on the two. truck has full power options. blows ice cold a/c. has 2" drop shackles on the rear, not sure how the front is lowered. has a tonneau cover and a sweet looking cd player too. has tons of power, well not compared to the 454, but its plenty for city driving. only things that dont work are the oil pressure guage which i will fix this weekend and the wiper dont work, does sound like the motor is working though when i hit the wiper switch. will post pictures soon!!

Re: uh oh did it again
I've always been a fan of that body style. I had both a 91 stepside and a short fleet about 15 years ago. Loose the wheels and get your Centerlines on it and it will be a super sharp looking truck!

Re: uh oh did it again
I can relate to your issues young man since a 1984 long bed handles like a barge vs. the 1992 short bed.
Unfortunately the 1984 model is more of a grandpa truck and you should do better with the ladies with the 1992. I actually like to drive my 1986 better even though the 1992 can take a corner a little better I enjoy the head room of the 1986 and the less claustrophobic cab it offers.

Re: uh oh did it again
It looks real clean. I like that style of truck but I prefer to be square.

Dude, your name cracks me up! I had to check your location twice to make sure you weren't the Shaun Allen here in Rolla that's in trouble with the law quite a bit. Congrats on the truck BTW!!
