Questions on a couple of things

I am a newbie here. I am wanting to put some 18 or 20 rims on my truck. I have a 67 swb fleetside with drums all the way around. What backspacing do I need to get? Also, I am wanting to put 1" drop springs on front and 3" drop springs on back. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Questions on a couple of things

It depends on the backspacing of the wheel. Those probably will not fit. Newer trucks have a higher offset (more backspacing) designed to fit a wider wheel while reducing the stress on the bearings.

To make those fit your truck, you would need some kind of spacers, probably pretty big ones; like 2" or bigger.

This site will help if you have any questions about what I'm talking about: https://www.rsracing.com/tech-wheel.html

Thanks Werewolf. Don't want to put spacers. Will keep looking.

Re: Questions on a couple of things

You will need to measure at final ride height to determine how much backspacing you need. Too many variables for anyone here to tell what backspacing you need.
