Alum cleaner?
whats a good cleaner for aluminum trans. , i thought i'd clear coat it then to help it clean easyer next time ?

I use mag wheel acid on mine.

I haven't tried it, But I have a friend that uses "navel jelly". Which is old fashioned, Paint remover.

Jest finished degreasing it , still has that dull dirty look to it . would like to get it back to the clean alum. or what the heck I'll jest paint it !

the mag wheel acid will give it a shiny white color. I use it all the time on my trucks and equip. We don't have time to polish all that alum so we just spray it down with the acid and the just power wash it. I buy my wheel acid off of the fasco detailing supply truck that travels to all of the car lots.
