Poor mans body lift
Now for all you guys expecting to see haockey pucks, there aint any. This isn't real or anything i just thought i'd take a pic of it. Its two frame one stacked on top of the other.

I have heard that hockey pucks crack in half...
Just throw a piece of sheet metal in between those frames and no one will know the better! |

My company plant manager just dropped his 4X4.It was a fairgrounds cruiser from the 80's when you had to come up with your own lift since there wasn't an "industry" for lifts then.He used rollers from a "Zamboni" cut to 7". The shop that took the lift off called him a liar when he told them it had a 7" body lift.They claimed 4" was as big as was made.

I have seen it done with 2 sets of 3" bodylift blocks stacked upon each other....One of the more scarey things I saw in my years working at a 4x4 shop.
The biggest problem with doing this.....other than the ugly factor, is safety. The cab moves around a lot when it is that high. This guy's moved enough to push the radiator into the fan.
