i found these wheels a guy is selling them for $80 for all 4 no lugs or centers. he let me take this one home do you think i should buy em? ill see if they fit tomarrow, they seem to have a lot of back spacing. and they measure 17 1/4 im assuming thats 17''. two more questions where can i find centers for them? and the guy has a 67 step and the bed is 9' long is this weird? long horn step?

Sounds like a great deal to me. I love slots! Also, Longhorns were built on 9' stepside frames. But is it uncommon? Yes, well at least I've never seen one. . .

racedvl, it is my understanding that longhorns were built on 133" WB cab/ chassis frames. It would be my guess that the 9' steps were also built on that same chassis.......GM was pretty consistant about not spendig too much cash on different tooling!

Here they are on my 72 4x4. mine are 16.5's running a 33x10.5 tire. $80 bucks is a good price, I got the last set for $50 with 3 good rims and 1 that had been repaired(welded) on the bead edge. With a little sanding I think it could look like new again.

any tire shop will carry center caps. If I were you, I'd get the stainless steel instead of the chromed steel. Unless this will be a garage queen and never see the weather.

I would grab tehm if I were you. You can polish them up pretty easy to look like the 4X4 shown above.
All one ton pickups in '67 were stepsides. All one ton pickups that were not Longhorns, came with a 9 foot step side bed.
(pickup....not cab/chassis or cowl/chassi)

Buy 'em! The price is right. They're probably 16.5" Personally, I just love slotted mags. Got 'em on my rig. But there's enough pics here already, and mine need a good polishing.

they dont fit! there to da*m wide the lugs dont evnt poke through. i was just begining to really like em too!both front and back dont fit backs are closer though. i found out thay came off a dodge.

BLAZERMAN, thanks for the compliments. I love this truck now that I have been able to spend some time behind the wheel. It has a 4" Skyjacker lift and 33" tires. I am planning on getting some more pics soon. I am waiting for some real snow to fall in the mountains!

yes we do!

specialy when there is eight of them to take off, put on, and torque. times that by four wheels and you gotta touch the lugs 96 times, hehe.

The lugs don't need to poke out. The prober lug nuts should be shanked, and actually reach into the holes.
16.5 does kinda suck, but sometimes you gotta take the bad with the good.
Dodge, chevy, ford...they all bolt up to these. (at least if it is older dodge/chevy/ford)

Longhornmail is right. The lugs don't need to poke through. They take a bossed (shanked) type lug nut, the boss should fit neatly into the lug holes, and have a tapered washer up under the hex. Give them another shot, try using the proper lug nuts, as long as you get enough thread engagement and the bolt circle is correct, you should be good to go.
