c10 454/th400 conversion ??

I have a 72 C-10 LB and I'm looking to convert from my 307ci/sm465 to a 454ci/th400 setup. Someone locally is selling a 454/th400 setup out of a 76 Motorhome/RV. Is there any real differences with a RV motor or trans? And how difficult is the swap? Any advice? All help is greatly appreciated. What would be a fair price to offer him for it? I do understand some of the things I will need for the conversion like-

radiator upgrade
motor mounts
brackets
brake pedal for automatic?
shifter

Does the TH 400 transmission have a short tail shaft?

The engine and transmission will fit in the truck as the trucks came with 402/TH 400 as an option. The swap should not be that difficult. The frame mounts for the 72 big block are getting harder to come by but they are available. You can use your existing brake pedal and just remove the clutch pedal and linkage.

If you swap out your column to an automatic column then it will be easier to match up the shift linkage. Also, the neutral safety switch and back up lights will be on the column. Wiring in the switches is not to big of an issue.

does the TH400 have a bolt on yoke? I'm guessing your truck has a 2 pc driveshaft since it's a LB, which won't be a problem with a bolt in yoke TH400, but it is one thing that might need to be accounted for, since there may need to be some driveshaft work done to get it in.
