help with 6 lug to 5lug x 4--1/2

Hi all I have a question I have a 1969 long bed ¾ ton it is a 6 lug and I have a set of rims that I would like to use but they are 5 x 4 ½ what do I need to get to convert it to a 5 lug from a 6 lug thanks mike ooo and i will be dropping the truck to soon so if I have to get new parts it might be best if i do it all at the same time

Find a local machine that can drill a 5 bolt pattern. They charge $50 a side here, you pull, that drill a 5 bolt, and fill in where the 6 where. $200 isn't bad IMO.

Wheel adapters are ok if the extra inch-ish doesn't hurt you.

Maybe you all can help me find all the how two's on the web site. I have looked but only can up with 1 or 2
is there a how to spot or must i search all over the place to try to find them. (like) what parts I need to do a disk
swap how to z the frame what spring to swap in the back and the fount to lower it.......... well you get the point that i am trying to make thanks for any help.

If your truck is a '69 and it's got 6-lugs,... it's a 1/2 ton. The 3/4 ton trucks were 8-lug.
Look in the suspension section. Use the search.
A 5x4.5 inch bolt pattern is a Ford passenger car bolt pattern. ? The Chevy truck pattern is 5x5.
You would have to convert the front to disc brakes and the rear to 5x5 axles or a rearend swap,... then buy adapters.
I think a different wheel might be a cheaper way to go.

x2 with lolife. 5 lug 5x5 bolt pattern is what we all have. Sell the wheels and find what you want in a stock bolt pattern

The rims came off a chev s-10 and i think that is 5x4.5 they are 20" chrome iroc look alike rims so am i stuck or will something like a elCamino fount end swap work

Chevy S10's were 5x4.75.

I think CPP makes a disc brake swap to this bolt pattern for the front,... but I don't know about the rear axles.
Still think it would be cheaper in the long run, to sell your wheels and buy a wheel for the truck bolt pattern.
It all depends on how much cash you want to spend.

many factory GM truck 6 lug rims out there that look great and will be cheaper than aftermarket rims. all 2000+ chevy and gmc 1/2 ton 2wds are 6 lug.....nice rims. keep it factory bowtie and things are simple. same goes for a disc brake upgrade....use gm truck parts, not some aftermarket kit....makes getting parts as close as your local salvage yard and parts stores!
