Questions about replacing gas tank.

I have a 1987 V2500 GMC. The driver side tank needs to be replaced. As I am shopping around (online) I noticed they offer one tank and do not say what side of the truck it is supposed to be on. Are these tanks sold universal? Has anybody ran into this issue before? Thank you.

Re: Questions about replacing gas tank.

get it from advanced if you shiop online its $99 they get it no shipping in 24 hours... they are identical and you can put the larger tank in if you want... just move the bracket over a set of holes
