would like to get the deal with the glasspacks but summit is saying that they wont work on c trucks why not?

I though the 4x4s had the engine set farther back. Also has a front diff. These headers must be specifically made to fit the 4x4s particular set up.

but would they work on a 2wd its not really that much diffrent
frame rails are the same right? it would be less for the to be going by.
k is 73+ right?

K is a 4wd.
The difference may be the crossmember.
If you look at the Dynomax 85023 that fit the C or K, they look darn near identical to the Flowmasters to me. I would go for it for that price and modify if necessary.
Unless somebody else can see or know the difference.

Always call the manufacturer and do not rely on the accuracy of the Summit website. I have ran into many problems with the application section. They will even tell you to do the same if you are unsure of their data.

Good advice. Manufacturer should be able to tell you why it will or will not fit your particular vehicle.

I would say for that price, get 'em and make the neccesary modifications to fit them. I would guess the modifications will be minimal.

I had a set of headers I bought for my '67 C20 with the 250 ci engine.

Just not sure if it was summit or some other speed shop that I ordered them from.

The guy I got my engine from told me that the big problem with headers on a 4x4 is the transfer case. I would agree with calling the manufacturer.

i put a set of flowtech headers on my 67 c-10 because they were cheap.
after moving the engine back 2" having my driveshaft sortened, beating the headers, and triming the control arms. im pretty sure ill pay a few extra bucks for headers that actually fit.

I've heard the same story about the Flowtechs Brad_Man has. I'd get headers that fit right out of the box if it were me. Not worth the price if you bang it to fit and it still won't work. That's 130 bucks of lottery tickets you coulda bought.
