The best lowering springs for the money?

Who has them? Anyone had good or bad luck out there? I am going to take out the poorly chopped up ones the PO did and put in a 3/5.

What else did you have to change, besides the springs.

Mike
I replaced the spindles, rear shock relocators, panhard bar, four shocks and springs.

Re: The best lowering springs for the money?

im thinking about doing a drop kit on my truck also
i was looking around cpp seems like they have good drop springs and kits and they seem to be the cheapest around.
i was going to do a 3/5 drop
but only buying the rear springs and cutting the front ones

Re: The best lowering springs for the money?

I did a 3.5/5 on my truck with stuff from ECE. ECE stuff may be a tad pricier than CPP, but they make up for it in customer support and overall knowledge. ECE specializes in 63-72 suspension whereas CPP makes stuff for everything. I've got no complaints with anything from ECE or their customer service. I've bought stuff from CPP before, and when I called back about an issue, they didn't have much advice and weren't very helpful.

My suspension components are as listed:
FRONT
-2.5" drop spindles
-1" drop springs
-KYB shocks

REAR
-5" drop springs
-shock relocater kit
-Super Track bar kit
-KYB shocks

I didn't notch the rear nor do I need to. I have plenty of clearance even with stock bumpstops.
