A sticky question???
I have a blob of Pine Tar (from our Pine Tree, that has deposited itself on my Windshield.
Did notice until I went to the Gas station, so I'll use the Window Squeegy...... ...WRONG. Now I have a smeared -smudge 3"X5" in my Drivers line of sight. Before I start throwing Chemicles at it, (and I DON'T give a Sh*t about my Carbon Footprint) ![]() Razor Blade with Windex? Acetone? Also there are some nasty Glue spots on my Cowl Hood from the packaging. I was going to wait until it cooled down later tonight and try some "Goo-Gone" on it, as I don't want to use anything that might take the Black Gel Coat ...... (or whatever kind of coat it is), off. Ideas??? Roger "RATIKLE"

Re: A sticky question???
A couple a rags and a can of Gum-Out carb cleaner has worked for me in the past. Using any kind of razor blade, can run the risk of scratching the glass. Bin there done that...
I used to live at a place that had pine tree's, and that's what I would use to get it off the glass. Though I wouldn't use it on any painted surfaces.

Re: A sticky question???
BTW.... Thanks for all the help guys.
Turned out I found some Goo-Gone, so on the Hood I soaked the SH*T out of it and used my Thumbnail to scrape it off. On the Front Windshield I also uesd Goo-Gone and a Razor Blade, followed by Window Cleaner and Rags. All ready to go to the Exhaust shop tomorrow for all new Exhaust Tubing, Flow Tech Cut-Outs and 4" Chrome slashed Tips in Front of the Rear Tires!! Roger "RATIKLE"

Re: A sticky question???
Although I know exactly where you're talking about, it wasn't me. I usually stay on the north end of the lake.
