1962 front drums and ball bearings

The inner and outer ball bearings went out on my 1962 C/20. They are extremely expensive to replace. My question is that if i were to get the drums and wheel bearings off of a 1963-1966 would they slide right onto the spindle of the 62? What is the best way to take care of this without spending 150 bucks on new bearings?

I'm not sure if the swap info applies to 3/4 ton, but you may be able to match bearing numbers cheaper than NAPA, as one poster suggests. Here's another good thread:
