4x4 to 2x4 conversion question

Will a 1978 Blazer 2wd front crossmember and suspension work in a 72 4wd to 2wd conversion?

Re: 4x4 to 2x4 conversion question

i think it should be the same, i used one from a 74 pick up in a 71 blazer. u will need the correct spindles. if u get it rotor 2 rotor u will have no problems but if u are planning on drop spindles ( im sure u are) u will need the ones for the year of the donor parts.
