Exhaust
im lookin 2 get a new exhaust system 4 my 82 c-10 i really want flowmaster super 40's but they dont make em 4 my truck they actually dont have any exhausts that would fit my truck and neither does borla. can i get a little help on where to get a nice sounding 1

You dont have to buy a full system, just buy the mufflers you want and take it to a muffler shop for the piping.

I just got quoted anywhere from $350-575 around here to get mine done. The variance came from if they "had to" put cats in it or not. That was duals, off headers, with economy turbo mufflers, dumped out the sides, in front of the rear tires. I hope that helps.

on my truck i got the summit racing turbo mufflers http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-630222/ and i had a muffler shop run a manifold back setup 2 1/4 all the way out the side with an h pipe for $ 240 mufflers and all
thats what they sound like on my stock 350

I just dropped 400 to have mine redone from the manifolds back. New flowmaster, new cat, 2.5" pipes (I kept mine a single system).
Mine dumps just behind the rear axle and is really throaty when cruising in the streets but very quiet (almost stock) when cruising on the highway for long drives |

i love my 40s .its manifolds no cats to 40s flowmasters and dumps befor the axle.
the truck has more bark then bite hahaha
