Seat swap

I'm wondering if I can get some advice on swapping a newer seat into my 86. I'm thinking of a 2000 or around that year, with a center console/flip up seat. I would like to know what to look for when buying a used seat, and what installation tips you may have. I'm hoping to get some advice to save me some time and headaches. Thanks a lot.

Re: Seat swap

Cut everything you can from the donor truck. If you can take out the whole floor section you will benefit by having all the parts for those seats. Then you can cut up yours and graft in what you need from the donor.
