Truck swap Dilemma & Questions..need HELP!

i have a chance to trade a guy his truck for mine. mine is the 80 gmc i hate, and dont want to do anything with since its a square fender. cant sell the turd so thought maybe a trade since this recently came up. the gmc is a titled registered running truck thats driveable, but not in the greatest looking shape. it works,i guess is what you can say best about it. his truck is a no title no real paper work and a bill of sale only thing. i dont mind that as i intend to use either truck to build the round fender(67-72) of my choice as a driver. so thinking instead of tearing up the driving truck, trade this guy for his truck and id assume better parts rig.

the gmc is 350/350 4wd with the stock axles and transfercase, runs good and should be a good donar. his truck is a 60 body(which ill dump/giveaway) and a 76 blazer chassis. 12 bolt front axle and a corp14 froma 79 truck. 454 motor 350 tranny with a 208 transfercase.

first off, this sound like a good deal? and second, will i have to much of an issue dropping his parts into the 67-72 without toooo much hassle? im capale of this over a period of time so in no rush, and money will go to it over time. tell me your thoughts and such on this whole endevor

pics of both trucks

If his truck is stock frame, I think it is the same as a 67-72...should not be an issue with swapping parts.

seems to be to good to be true trade....IS IT STOLEN? LOL

lol i hope not. though he did lose title to frame and no idea on cab. a bill of sale from him should be good, as i will use any paper work from the 67-72 i get.

and the 76 blazer frame he did say i think he shortened. dont think id use it anyway now that i think about it. i mainly want the drive train.

That sounds like a great deal...although I would think that your truck wouldn't be as valuable as the white truck. JMHO
