removing fenders from a 68 c20
need some advice on how to remove the fenders.
Looks like i need to remove the headlights and cowl to get access to bolts. if so what does it take to remove the wipers to get the cowl. i could guess but i don't wanna screw anything up. also any other tricks i need to know to remove? for now i'd like to leave the grill, front bumper, and inner fenders on if possible. i'm just trying to do the minium to get ready to lift the cab. thanks, David |

There is a small tabb on each wiper arm that hangs down just a bit. You can use a flat blade screw driver but be careful you will scratch the paint up unless you use something to protect it from the screwdriver prying it off

you should remove the bumper or else it will be hard to get by it when taking the fenders off.

Depending on the condition of your truck, I would suggest hitting all the fasteners with PB Blaster or WD-40 at least 24/hrs. before you start tearing it apart. Especially the ones that hold the outer fender to the inner fender....the factory J-Nuts can be real stubborn.

Re: removing fenders from a 68 c20
Are you pulling the whole front clip as a unit or just pulling the fenders? that can make a difference in the steps you need to take.
