Lower bag bolt size and where to get them?

Looking for the bolts in this picture. Want to make sure I am fine only using one as pictured even though my RE-7's have three bolt holes in the bottom...also any recommendation for the top bolts/washers as well. I would like to get something that thick and not sure where to go other than HD or Lowes which I haven't seen any like that there.

The picture came from this thread which is great for anyone wanting to bag and never having done it....

Re: Lower bag bolt size and where to get them?

Those were machined washers. Nice if you can have them done, if not, any performance place will have harmonic balancer washers that will do the same thing.

Or..... gulp, grab a piece of some simple 2"x.250" steel strap from your local Lowes. Chop it down to 2x2" & drill the correct size hole in the center. Done.

For hardware, I used 3/8" GRADE-8 bolts & some lock washers from Lowes w/a dab of never-seize on the threads.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Thanks, Harmonic balancer bolts were what I was thinking of...I remembered there was some other application for them...

The flat stock idea is a nice idea as well though....might just do that.

I think the flat stock would be easiest.
