Electrical Issues
Okay so about 2 years back I got a 73 Chevy K10 and it had some electrical problems but I always just brushed em off. But they are annoying. Number One, When i turn my blinker on the Gas Gauge moves to the tick, also when I have my brights on my Blinkers are EXTREMELY long and drawn out in between flashes/blinks.3 My interior door lights do not turn on when door is open unless I manually turn them on. couple other dumb ones but can't think of off top of head. Any help would be awesome thanks guys

Re: Electrical Issues
It sounds like you have a ground problem with your lights that are backfeeding through the cluster. Test the ground with and ohm meter on the terminal in the connector for the cluster to ground. The wire color is black and its a 20ga wire at the outermost/bottom of the connector. There is a blue wire above it. The resistance should be .5ohms or less. It goes to a 5/16 sheetmetal screw. The door ajar switches are jammed, stuck or have a poor ground. Hope this helps.
