Can someone measure stock rear springs?
I need a height measurement of stock rear springs please.
Or if you have drop springs can you measure those. I have a pair that are 12" high and need to know how they compare to stock height. Thanks Todd

Re: Can someone measure stock rear springs?
Check the ECE website, if memory serves they had height info listed for stock springs as well as lowered. I recall a measurement of 13" for stock springs however don't remember if that was for a 1/2 or 3/4 ton. Good luck.

Re: Can someone measure stock rear springs?
I measured a set I have in my shed and they're both 12.5". I put drop springs on so I assume these were probably the original 38 year old springs. Closer to 13" is probably what they started out as way back then. The truck is a 71 1/2 ton. Hope this helps.

Re: Can someone measure stock rear springs?
If I can find them I will measure my old springs but my spid for my 71 c 10 said Hvy Susp. The picture I dug up is the new vs old springs for a 4" drop. The thing at the time that got my attention was the old spring was made of heavier stock. Just sayin that may be a difference also in stock springs as to why yours measures 12".

Re: Can someone measure stock rear springs?
I did find my old ones and they do measure 13" and are made of 3/4 " stock. If yours are like 11/16 or 5/8" at 12" , I would guess they are for a 2" drop?
