Question Should I trade my 87swb for a 85 swb?????

Well I was looking online and found a 85 swb that has some mods done to it and has a 400 motor, new interior, cowl hood, and rear roll pan with corvette style tail lights ....and well mine has a 91 suburban front end....new bench seat 350 tbi motor cd player and lots of other small stuff .... But is it worth trading.....since 87 was the last year of the square body????

I Agree keep it. Alot of guys with 86 and lower trucks wish they had and 87 with TBI cause. I would keep it cause it still looks like an old truck but u have some cool new features to it like TBI and what not.

I think I may just keep the 87 and rebuild the motor and throw a nice paint job and work on my 67 swb fleetside project also

Welcome to the boards!!!

I agree with the others keep it. I think the 85 and 87 are pretty comparable. One has a newer 400, but the 87 has the TBI, and the only year for that. Don't think it would be worth the hassle. Like a couple of others said also pics pics pics.

Keep the '87. Trading for the '85 really isn't going to surmount to much and the '87 is very unique in its doo dads . I love my '87!

Hey welcome to the best boards around from MT. I would keep the '87 too but that's just me. I want to see some pictures of both trucks if you got some.
