Nice solid looking truck.
I'm curious, does anybody know what the two vertical holes to the left of the glovebox door where designed for? I've never seen anything in them beyond the stock snap-in hole covers. |

My uncle had a chevy, and I belive he had a Hazard light switch on one of those, I'm not shure if it was original for the truck. |

Yes that is a nice solid looking truck.
Be sure to check the oil level in that transfer case, and fix any leaks there may be. Those T-221's don't live very long without sufficient oil in them. Keep us posted on your progress.

Nice looking GMC 4x4 shorty. If you haven't already, check out my thread in the 4x4 forum titled (Let's see how many 60-66 4x4's are out there). This will get you motivated to get on the ball and get it going. Post you pics while you are there. Keep us updated on any progress.

Wow, that is one unmolested truck. Like the fact that the dash hasn't been cut into. If you need any sheet metal for that beast let me know, I think I am going to part out my 63 Short Fleet.

Re: My new project, 1963/4x4/GMC
Sweet score. You have a solid, relatively unmolested original rig to work with. The holes to the right of the radio/left of the glove box are not factory. It appears someone has installed some switches somewhere along the ling.
Keep us posted on your progress and thanks for sharing. |

I'm shure that they had the option of having a cigarret lighter or something else.
