Nice ride! Hope mine is like that some day! Maybe it was just me, how did you get the cab so quite? Was it that way, or did you do something?

This way when I bought it. The drivers seat does squeak some but it has a load on it! One day I was driving it and there was some rattle in the back so I tried to find it since it was a new sound. Turns out it was the rear hatch. Pushed it in real good on each corner and it went away?? I guess not good and latched.

Yes I did buy it. On the price....lets just say we discussed the cost of the parts and both came away happy. The guy really did not want to sell it but needed the money. (divorce) I did not get it for a steal but it is what I was looking for. I took the front wheel wells out today and removed what was left of the boxes. No surprises!!!! The only rust I have found is a little eat away on the edge of the battery box (see this thread: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=364993 ). I am going to try and install the torsion boxes this week so I can drive topless before winter! Thanks for the help and advice!

Everything is listed on the spid except the tach and the radio say am push button not am/fm. Also had camper mirrors but were removed so it would fit in PO's garage. Sides have been repainted and the rest was cut and buffed.
