Exclamation I need MonoJet pics

Hi, I'm new here and to owning a 70 C10. This is my first monojet and it needs to be rebuilt. I have experience rebuilding holley's but never a rochester. What I need is pictures of the port on the bottom that people fill with JB weld. I would also be interested in linkage and vacuum line pics. One more problem I have is the choke's bimetal spring is trash. I would really like to get a new one but can't seem to find one anywhere. Pictures of choke conversions would be awesome.

Re: I need MonoJet pics

Here is a pretty darn good resource.

http://www.classictrucks.com/tech/08...ild/index.html

I have two trucks, one a '68 with a Rochester M and one with a '67 with a B.

I have the Overhaul Manual for the '68 which does a pretty good job on Carburators.

If I can help let me know, but the website link is great.

Re: I need MonoJet pics

Thanks for the link but I don't need help with the rebuild. I really want pics of the place people put the JB weld on the underside of the M series.

Re: I need MonoJet pics

Sorry I guess I did not read your post too good. I do not know why folks would put JB Weld in a carb

No need to jb weld the monojets. This was a Quadrajet problem.
