Doh! Broken horn button retainer
I recently purchased a Custom Chevy horn button for my truck (the chrome & acrylic one, not the plain-jane chrome one). Like a moron, I tried to put it on in 20 degree weather. Snapped all but two of those plastic teeth on the base (of course those teeth had to right next to each other). Slick. Then in my haste to get the old, plain-jane chrome one back on, I tore the rubber retainer in two.
So, does anyone have one, maybe two, of those rubber deals lying around? Or any ideas on how to attach my Custom button solidly (I thought of using my rubber retainer, but it's just barely holding my plain-jane button in)?
