Part Sources -- Recomendations?
I am going to start odering some parts for my 70 GMC. Mostly small things such as ign switch, headlamp switch, etc.
Any suggestions on who best to buy from? I am looking for quality and service over price. Thanks, Dusty

Re: Part Sources -- Recomendations?
Oh, I have catalogs from Year One and LMC. One better than the other? Also, I have heard of Brothers but have only looked at their website.

Re: Part Sources -- Recomendations?
I've ordered several things from LMC and have always been very happy. They ship stuff out very quickly and everything seems to be of good quality. I've persoonally never dealt with Year One, so I can't comment on them. The other thing to keep in mind is that Autozone & Napa have a surprising selection of parts on hand for these trucks, which takes the shipping costs out of the equation. Just my 2 cents.

Re: Part Sources -- Recomendations?
I have been shopping with Classic Parts a lot lately. I haven't found anyone who beats their prices and I get my stuff in 3 days.

Re: Part Sources -- Recomendations?
Year One is a rip-off. LMC and Classic Parts are pretty good. I live right down the street from Brothers. They are good for mail orders, but when I go in the shop they never have anything in stock.

Re: Part Sources -- Recomendations?
I have bought almost all of my parts from Classic & Brothers. Had a backorder problem with Brothers & had to wait 2 weeks to get the part. Not nice. I agree with Kevin, Classic was very good with speed of delivery. After spending XX amount of dollars, I called in one of my orders & told them that they should send me a T-shirt. He excused himself- checked my total $ that I had spent with them & asked me what size & color did I want. I got 1 from each place!! Howard
