factory tach dash
i need a good vendor for the circuit strips for my factory tach dash...everything works except for the temp gage....strip is bad....s.

Did you try working the mounting nuts back and forth a little? I had the same problem, and it ended up being loose contact. Otherwise if it is bad, I have heard the repop that Brothers sells is well made.

If you work carefully it is possible to repair the strip by soldering a small jumper wire over the bad spot.

I'd assume all the repop circuit panels are the same, but I know several that have used the one sold by Classic Parts of America (the old Chevy Duty).

maybe i had never been looking for one but i aw one in Classic Chevy last night. I may tru to solder across the bad spot. So far I can't locate the actual cause. I think I will make the solder attempt and try it just in case there is something causing it I have not found. Thanks. Scott

didn't GM make a "solder pen" for repairing the
rear window defroster ? Might be worth a try. |
